APPLICATION CYCLE

WALLS AND FLOORS WITH CEMENT-BASED SELF-LEVELLING COMPOUNDS

Apply one coat of PRIMER MONOLITH ATTAK
Necessary for surfaces with cement-based self-levelling agents.

  • Apply one coat of PRIMER MONOLITH ATTAK.
    Necessary for surfaces with cement-based self-levelling agents.

 

  • Apply two coats of MONOLITH large grain
    after 4-6 hours.
    It isimportant to apply the first coat of Monolith neutral to ensure a better grip on the surface.

 

  • Between the first and the second coat, drown the fibre mesh (140/150).
    In case of critical surfaces and deep joints a third coat of Monolith should be applied.

When the product has dried (4-6 hours), sand the surface before applying the finishing coat. We recommend
(60/80).

  • Then proceed with the application of MONOLITH medium grain to obtain a compact finish.

 

  • If you wish to obtain a smoother effect, you can apply a
    coat of fine-grained MONOLITH.

 

  • Afterdrying (24-48h) depending on theweather conditions
    youcan apply Microglass
    Bi
    Matt, Glossy or Semi-glossy depending on the desired effect.
    (We recommend 2-3 coats)

Then proceed with the application of MONOLITH medium grain
to obtain a compact finish.

 

If you wish to obtain a smoother effect, you can apply a coat
of MONOLITH fine grain.

 

After 24 hours, Microglass Bi-Glass can be applied.
Opaque, Glossy or Semi-Glossy can be applied, depending on the desired effect.
(We recommend 2-3 coats)

 

WALLS AND FLOORS WITH BRICKS, MARBLE, CERAMICS, TILES.

  • Apply two coats of MONOLITH large-grain
    4-6 hours apart.

It is important to apply the first coat of Monolith neutral to ensure a better grip on the surface.

  • Between the first and the second coat, drown the fibre mesh
    (140/150).
  • For all types of joints thicker than 2 mm it is
    necessary to apply:
    MONOLITHextra large grain in place of MONOLITH large grain following the same procedure,
    then drown the fibre mesh between the first and second
    coat.
