WALLS AND FLOORS WITH BRICKS, MARBLE, CERAMICS, TILES AND CEMENT-BASED SELF-LEVELLING COMPOUNDS

  • Apply one coat of PRIMER MONOLITH ATTAK
Necessary in case of surfaces with cement-based self-levelling agents.
  • Apply two coats of MONOLITH large grain or
MONOLITH extra large grain (joint thickness greater than 2 mm) 4-6 hours apart.

*It is important to apply the first coat of Monolith neutral,
to ensure a better grip on the surface.
Between the first and the second coat drown the fibre mesh (140/150).
When the product is completely dry (24 hours), sand the surface before applying the finishing coat.
It is advisable to use standard grain (60/80).

  • Then proceed with the application of MONOLITH METAL:
Mix in a 1:1 ratio MONOLITH GRANA MEDIA
neutral with the powder of the chosen metal (BRONZE - COPPER
    - ZINC - STAGNO).
For copper, bronze and brass, we recommend diluting the mixed product with 2-3% of
    water to facilitate application.

  • When
the product iscompletely dry (24 hours), sand the product using the following grits in the following order:
    (80 - 120 - 320 - 500 - 800 - 3000 - 6000) to obtain
    the pure metal effect.
Dust with a damp cloth to remove metal dust. Wait approx. 24 hours for the surface to dry and apply Microglass Bi.

  • If youwish to obtain a smoother effect, you can use MONOLITH fine grain for mixing with the metal,
then after the application of coloured MONOLITH medium grain (when the product has dried and following the same procedure as described above) mix MONOLITH fine grain with the chosen metal powder.

Afterdrying (24-48h) , depending onweather conditions, Microvetro Bi
can be applied matt, glossy or semi-glossy depending on the desired effect.
(We recommend 2-3 coats)

Important: Respect the drying time to avoid oxidation of the metal to be applied.
